The customer, a leading supermarket & distribution management chain approached us to develop an omnichannel sales platform consisting of POS, eCommerce marketplace, mobile app, electronic voucher distribution, and back-office to optimize sales opportunities by leveraging the operational synergies of the omnichannel commerce market.
Solution
Providing our client an unprecedented opportunity, cloudloom created a comprehensive retail management system focusing on multi-channel commerce (POS, eCommerce marketplace, mobile app, and back-office). The system helped the retailer to organize their retailing efficiently by giving key focus on all core modules viz. product, pricing, inventory, purchase order, vendor management, receiving, GRN, stock, payments, various integrations, etc.
The distribution wing of the retailer used the online marketplace to help distributors list their products. With the new system, customers could buy the products online which then were fulfilled by one or more vendors. They could also opt to ‘click and collect' or purchase directly from a vendor who can sell the item using the POS system. To purchase goods, vendors are given a wallet and a credit limit. The completely customizable dashboards and reports gave the team a new level of data to work with, allowing them to make more informed decisions.
